We are an Eastern Catholic parish who value our holy tradition of reverent worship of the all-holy Trinity, orthodoxy in faith, holy living, fellowship and hospitality. We also value our union together in Christ our true God, the Holy Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, together with the angelic Powers and all the Saints. Our Divine Liturgies and other holy services are served in English, with occasional hymns/chants in Church Slavonic and Greek.
St. Basil the Great is a Parish of the Byzantine (Ruthenian) Catholic Church, a Church in full communion with the Holy Father Pope of Rome. The parish is part of the Holy Protection of Mary Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Phoenix and the Ruthenian Byzantine Catholic Metropolia of Pittsburgh. Any Catholic properly prepared and in full communion with the Church may receive Holy Communion here.
