Glory to Jesus Christ! - Slava Isusu Christu! - St. Basil the Great is a Parish of the Ruthenian Catholic Church, a Church in full communion with the Holy Father Pope of Rome. The parish is part of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy(Diocese) of the Holy Protection of Mary (Phoenix) and the Metropolia of Pittsburgh. Any Catholic properly prepared and in full communion with the Church may receive Holy Communion here.
St. Basil's serves the faithful of San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Saratoga, Mountain View, Santa Cruz, Los Altos, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Salinas, Monte Sereno, Menlo Park, Livermore, Milpitas, Pleasanton and Fremont, all located in the San Francisco Bay Area. St. Basil's also conducts an outreach in the Monterey - Salinas area.
